Not getting much work done. Found this video. Just for some reference, they start around 9,000' and reach the tunnel at 11,158'. 60 mph, max gross weight.
Keep in mind, at this elevation, you have lost about 1/3 of your hp.

Hearing that engine sit at 4,500+ RPM was painful. I kept expecting it to explode.

You should listen to the Tacoma test. It was singing just shy of 6,000 rpm the whole trip. That was painful.

Just watched this too, not terribly surprising given the hp and load. The Ridgeline is one of those trucks that’s platform limited not power limited. Like, as an example, an s class

If they didn’t hit traffic, they probably would have been in line with the Tacoma. I would think the trans may be the limiting factor for the rating vs the platform.
